He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William (Morgan) and Ruby Alma Barnes Morgan; his sister Aliene; and his stepson Jerry Dale. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his brother Darrell of Alamogordo; his children, Shay (Eric) of Ruidoso and Cody (Kelly) of Artesia; and his grandsons, Wyatt and Brady.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch of Amarillo, Texas, an organization which Red donated to for many years.
