She was predeceased by: her parents, Donaciano Acosta and Martha Urias Acosta; her husband Jesus Marquez; her son Manuel Marquez; her granddaughter Martha Mata; and her brothers, Candalario, Rosalio, Domingo and Jose.
She is survived by: her children, Irma Peralta, Martin Marquez, Angie Marquez, Maria Silvas, Israel Marquez, Bertha Marquez, Ruperto Marquez and Jose Marquez; and her siblings, Santos Yrigollen and Merijildo Acosta. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (123 W Main St, Artesia, NM 88210). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
