He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bayless Irby and Nell Florence Irby; his wife Norberta Irby; and his brothers, Dillard and Eugene Irby.
He is survived by: his children, Kirk Irby, Eugene Irby, Wade Irby and LaNette Irby; his grandchildren, Brandon Price, Allyson Price, Lesley Adams, Rebecca Price, Noah Irby, Douglas Irby, Nicholas Irby, Robbie Smith, ZoeAnn Smith and Lowell E. Irby; and his great grandchildren, Bodhi, Jerome, Alexander, Parker and Kassidy.
In lieu of flowers, the Irby family ask for donations to be made to Artesia High School Drama Program, Artesia High School Band Boosters and the Lowell M Irby Family Foundation at South Western Oklahoma State University Pharmaceutical Program.
