With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Jones of Artesia, New Mexico, born in Stratford, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gibson and Ruby Gibson (Brendle); her husband Henry Ray Jones; her children, Terri Yvonne Steggs and Michael Ray Jones; and her brother Charles Gibson.
She is survived by: her son Kelly Jones; her siblings, Edith Mobley, Carolyn Gray, Darlene Savoie, Shirley Caple, Janie Brewington, Ellen Stoudt and John Gibson; her grandchildren, Kathy McCombs, John Pinson, Stephanie Murray, Denise Blakley, Britt Steggs, Kelsey Jones and Jackson Jones; her great grandchildren, Mattie McCombs, Brady McCombs, Zack Pinson, Alyssa Pinson, Caleb Pinson, Victoria Hall and Sydney Hall; her great great grandchild Kaisley Imparato; her close friend Sherry Pinson; and her pet Kitty.
In lieu of flowers the family would request that memorial contributions be made to any local charity, the Dementia Society of America, or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
