With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jose Porras of Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on August 2, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Porras Sr. and Cruz Calderon; and his son Ismael Porras. He is survived by: his wife Maria Porras of Artesia; his children, Arturo Porras of Artesia, Israel Porras (Manuela) of Artesia, Gabriel Porras (Tina) of Artesia, Olivia Gallegos of Artesia, Imelda Porras of Artesia, Elizabeth Porras of Roswell, NM and Esther Lara (Joe) of Roswell; and his siblings, Bernardo Porras of Midland, Enrique Porras of Midland, Manuel Porras of Mesa, Arizona and Juana Porras of Ojinaga, Mexico. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
