It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Friesner (Artesia, New Mexico), who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Friesner and Ethel Friesner; his wife Donna Friesner; his parents-in-law, Otto and Esther Grill; and his siblings, Viola Henderson, Elmer and Cecil Friesner.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Friesner, Debbie Cyrus (Steve), Cindy Shetterly (Mike) and Sheila Ortega (Jerry); his grandchildren, Steve Cyrus (Janell), Bill Cyrus, Shannon Gomez, Lori, Terry (Lynn), Ashley Friesner, Brandi Kelsey (Travis), Brian Shetterly (Eve), Stephanie Rodriguez (Jerome), Jerry Ortega Jr., Rosa Torres and Brandon Ortega (Gina); his great grandchildren, Avery Cyrus, Roy Cyrus, Chris Gomez, Marivel Valdez, Dion Gomez, Danielle Cabezuela (Marcos), Carlie Terry, Nolan, Charlotte, Kai Kelsey, Riley, Marlie, Teak Shetterly, Josh, Liam, Hunter and Corbin Rodriguez; and his great great grandchildren, Kayson, Kamdyn, Kaidydn, Zoel, Aviana, Aubree, Kenzlee, Maddox, Kallyhan, Emmalyn and Cayten.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (810 W Washington Ave, Artesia, NM 88210). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Woodbine Cemetery (201 E Hermosa Dr, Artesia, NM 88210).
