We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, at the age of 89, Happy Bell (Artesia, New Mexico), born in Snyder, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Evans and Laura Page; her brothers, Leon, Larry and Mickey Evans; her grandson Jesse Dalton Bell; and her great grandchild Bodie Jesse Sparrow.
She is survived by: her grandson Dalton Lee; her son Jesus Loves Me; her close friend Geneva Holland; her children, John Bell (Sylvia) of Weed, NM, Fred Wootton of Denison, TX, Joel Bell of Artesia, NM, Jeff Bell of Van Horn, TX, Jerry Bell of Sacramento, NM and Jennifer (Chris) of Lubbock, TX.; and also, Elizabeth Cleve (Bernard) of Elk, NM, Gilbert Evans of Tularosa, NM, Sally Stade of Carlsbad, NM and Janie Lewis of Smyer, TX..
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westside Church of Christ (2002 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent in her honor to New Mexico Christian Children's Home, which she supported endlessly throughout her life.
