She is survived by: her children, Cesar Fernando Chavez (Sarah Chavez) and Claudia Chavez; her siblings, Benjamin Mendoza (Glenda Mendoza), Octavio Mendoza, Jose Raul Chavez, Carlos Mendoza (Veronica Mendoza), Esperanza Mendoza, Aurora Mendoza, Margarita Mendoza, Irma Mendoza, Alicia Mendoza and Delia Mendoza (Ramces Lafayette); and her grandchildren, Fernando Chavez, Abigail Chavez, Cesar Chavez, Damian Chavez, Ileanna Montes, Alexis Montes, Jonathan Rivera and Arianna Rivera.
