With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elia Gomez (Artesia, New Mexico), who passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elia Gomez to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Fermin M. Gomez (Sonny); her parents, Carolina and Facundo; and her siblings, Eleanor Bryant and Abel Nunez.

She is survived by: her siblings, Facundo, Carolina Nunez, Elida Nunez of Santa Fe and Alfredo Nunez (Minnie) of Wilmington; her daughters, Luana Harrell (Gary) of Roswell and Sonia Gomez of Hagerman; her sister-in-law Christina Nunez; and her grandchildren, Justin Gray (Stacie) of Roswell, Melana Boyd (Jason) of Conifer, Nathan Gray (Emily) of Albuquerque and Valerian Gomez of Murrieta California. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
