He is survived by: his wife Judy Carol Stoops; his son Montie; his daughter-in-law Genia; his grandson Ryan; his sister Virginia Todd; his brother-in-law Bill; his nephew Charles; his niece Alyce; his sister Pearl Torrey; his niece Dawn; and his extended family, Dennis, Diane, Brandon, Jarrod Davis and Kimberly Rodriguez.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the Artesia Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
