With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Eugene Conner of Artesia, New Mexico, born in Pyote, Texas, who passed away on June 5, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Etta Posey Conner; his wife Mary Lee Clawson Conner; his father Jack Conner; his sister Jackie Taylor; his siblings-in-law, Idos Taylor, Geri Graham and Shelby Graham; his son-in-law Stephen Grayson; and his grandsons, David Conner, Eric Conner and Shawn Goss.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Conner (Setsuko), Teresa Horn (Robert), Valri Mariscal (Anthony), Lori Thomas (Brad) and Caryle Goss (Michael). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to your favorite children's home or to Artesia Classical Academy. Donations to the Academy may be dropped off at Hermosa Church of Christ, 2512 W. Bush, Artesia, NM, or mailed to PO Box 232, Artesia, NM 88211-0232 .
