He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Doris Cousins and Elmer Cousins; and his stepgrandson Hunter Vest. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Cousins; his children, Amber Caceres (Armando) and Jason Paul Cousins (Ara); his stepsons, Jason Vest (Missy) and Colby King; his grandchildren, Isabella, Clayre, Angelique (Ivis), Amelia, Kendall, Landon, Kyleigh and Christopher Vest; and his sister Jeannie Shea. He is also survived by numerous nephews and one niece.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terpening & Son Chapel (611 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM 88210). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Temple (1507 W Hermosa Dr, Artesia, NM 88210). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Twin Oaks Cemetery.
