He was predeceased by: his parents, David Valenzuela and Rosa Garcia; his daughter-in-law Lucy Bejarano; and his siblings, Sam Bejarano, Enedina Martinez, Elodia Rivera and Emma Hernandez.
He is survived by: his former wife Aida Bejarano; his children, Guadalupe H. Bejarano, Selia G. Mariscal (Raymond), Delma G. Lopez (Alonzo) and Mary Ann G. Batie (J. J.); his siblings, Gabino Bejarano Jr., David Valenzuela Jr. and Esperanza Marquez; and his grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Valerie, Michael, Jessica, Gracie, Heather, Melanie, Venessa, Rena and Jonathan. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
