She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorge Arogones Hernandez and Martina Gamboa Garcia; her husband Joe Alvarado; her siblings, Carlos Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez, Bonifacio Hernandez, Fernando Hernandez, Dominga Marquez, Juana Perez, Jila Briseño, Juanita Johnson, Essie Juarez and Florence Diaz; her grandson Jessie Alvarado; and her great grandchildren, Kalynne Marie Flores and Matthew Dakota Alvarado.
She is survived by: her children, David Alvarado (Martha) of Artesia, NM, Oscar Alvarado (Refugio) of Las Cruces, NM, Joseph Alvarado, Sylvia A Flores (Richard) of Artesia, NM and Anna Maria Barrera of Artesia, NM.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (1111 N Roselawn Ave, Artesia, NM 88210). A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
