It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Carmichael of Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Carmichael and Maxine Carmichael; and his brother Dan Carmichael. He is survived by: his children, Karren and Daniel; his wife Ellen; his sons, Rodney and James; his siblings, Marion and David (Sandi); his grandchildren, Brandon (Nayeli Ramirez), Eric (Justine), Daniel and Jesse; and his great grandchildren, Adi, Oliver and Calvin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
