He is survived by: his wife Lois Janet Bishop; his children, Howard Bishop (Wendy) and Joni Bearden (Glenn); his grandchildren, Christopher Bishop (Paula) and Kylie Howell (Matthew); and his great grandchild Benjamin Howell.
