It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hartley of Artesia, New Mexico, born in Mentone, Texas, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Ray and Velva Violene Pendleton Stanton; her husband Bob; her daughters, Karen Kelsey and Karrie "Nell" Garver; and her grandson Casey Joe Maples.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Houghtaling (Ronnie) and Susie Maples (Pancho); and her son-in-law Ed Kelsey. She is also survived by 1 granddaughter, 8 grandsons, 30 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
