He is survived by: his sons, Alfred and Leonard Sanchez; his granddaughter Maribel Sanchez; his stepdaughter Flor Avelar; his stepgrandchildren, James and Katalina; and his siblings, Mary L. Archuleta (Joe), George Sanchez (Nancy) and Henry Sanchez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
