With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Val Ortiz of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico, who passed away on July 22, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Ortiz and Ramona Ortiz; his son Christopher Ortiz; his parents-in-law, Adolfo and Adelita Salazar; and his brothers-in-law, Rudy and Eddie Salazar.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ortiz; his daughter Michelle Ortiz; his siblings, Genevieve Reyes, Celia Medrano (Val), Lupe Saiz, Angie Barbero, Carmen Ortiz, Lena Gonzales (Andrew), Tina Ortiz, James Ortiz (Liz) and Joe Lovato (Donna); his nieces, Neveah, Sophia, Hopie and Barbara; and his brother-in-law Arthur Salazar. He is also survived by numerous other nieces/nephews, relatives and friends.
