It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alonzo Valdez of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico, who passed away on July 31, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alonzo Valdez to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Valdez; his grandparents, Marcario and Manuelita Fresquez; his parents, Teresina Fresquez and Jose Valdez; his parents-in-law, Elvira Garcia and Fidel Garcia; and his brothers, Juan, Robert Fresquez, Steve and Carlos Valdez.

He is survived by: his children, Cory Valdez (Stephanie) and Cristina Cisneros (Roman); his grandchildren, Elaina, Mila Cisneros, Rena (Alejandro) and Kairi Valdez; his great grandchild Aleena Medina; his siblings, Daniel Fresquez (Andreita) and Lorraine Valdez; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Garcia (Lina), Jesse Garcia (Francella), Ray Garcia (Beth), Berlinda Olonia (Uvaldo), Antonia Valdez (Tony), Verna Montez (Steve) and MaryAnn Garcia. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

He shared his gift with his family and oftentimes donated his artwork to help friends who were holding raffles or events.
