He is survived by: his wife Ruth Shields of Amistad; his children, Kristi Novak (Logan) of San Antonio, Rachelle Knepp (Kenny) of Amarillo, Sharla Laumbach (Michael) of Amistad and Lance Shields (Teresa) of Gainsville; his grandchildren, Zane Novak, Laina Laumbach, Amber Knepp and Rockkeem Carey; his great grandchildren, Austyn Gonzales, Brooke Gonzales and Analiyah Gomez; and his brother Ervin Shields of Amistad. He is also survived by his kids, grandkids and extended family.
