It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Welton Allen of Alto, New Mexico, born in Vernon, Texas, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Marion Allen and Elsie Allen (Zajicek); his wife Jeanne Allen (Lowe); his daughter Sharon Allen; and his brothers, Walter and Wilbur.

He is survived by: his son Jerry Allen (Sharon); his grandchildren, Lisa Allen, Jennifer (Scott Treadway), Heidi Doe (Michael) and Timothy Allen (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Kyle Doe (Emily), Thomas Doe, April Barham (Jake), Carter Treadway, Tyler Treadway, Aubrey Treadway, Luke Allen and Joshua Allen; and his brother James W. Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
