He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Gill and Ella Gill (Strickland); and his siblings, Mildred Puckett, Mary Sargeant, Nita Inglish and Melvin Gill.
He is survived by: his wife Neta Underwood; his children, David Gill (Sue), Nancy Fezler (Steven) and Susan Hibbs (Johnny); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Hales (Steve), Melissa Gill Edmiston, Taylor Kvasager (Ty), Cammie Floyd (Matt), Cassie Ballantine (Chris), Laurelyn Morrison (Michael), Leah Charleson (Jon), Lindsay Schroer (Ray) and Austin Hibbs (Shea).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made in memory of Bill Gill to Samaritan's Purse.
