He was predeceased by: his parents, Vidal Lopez and Trinidad Lopez; and his siblings, Jake Lopez, Edward Lopez, Leroy Lopez, Judy Correa, Mike Lopez, Leondro Lopez and Henry Lopez.

He is survived by: his children, Candie Lopez Aguirre, Joseph Lucero, Cecilia Lopez and Will Lopez; his grandchildren, Samantha Lucero (Joseph Herrera), Esteven Lucero (Alyssa Harper), Jordan Lopez, Daniel Lopez, Dasia Lopez, Jonah Aguirre and Malia Lopez; his great grandchildren, Jordee Lucero, Laylahni Lucero, Ava Herrera, Mila Herrera and Athena Harper; and his siblings, Porfilio Lopez, Ida Montaño, Vidal Lopez Jr., Juan Lopez, Christina Gallegos and Josie Lucero. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Private prayer service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 12:00 pm, due to the limitation because of Covid family can hear the prayer service on the radio while parked outside the service on station 88. 1FM.
