She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Candelaria and Trinie Sanchez; and her children, Robert Ortiz, Michael Ortiz and Judy Barela.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Ortiz, Jose Candelaria, Ruby Sandoval, Sarah Ortega (Jesus) and Paulette Rodriguez (Abel); her siblings, Gilbert and Helen; her grandchildren, Rachel, Janet, Dominic, Diego, Armando Jr., John Paul, Gabriel, Anthony, Adam, Chato, Moses, Elijah and Raylynn; and her goddaughter Maria Martinez.
