She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Beatrice Thomas and John Henry Thomas; her siblings, Josiah Cervantes Thomas and Gladys Thomas; her half-siblings, Sanolia Simms, Lucille Sayers, Montecello Nunley, Fred Nunley and Curtis Edward; and her grandchildren, Daniel Boateng and Quiana Pouncil.
She is survived by: her former husband Clyde Pouncil; her husband Mason Jackson; and her children, Charlotte Lloyd, Barry Pouncil (Kathy), Gwendolyn Davis (Robert), Gerald Pouncil, Helen Wilson, Melinda Boateng, Brenda Wiggins (Landra) and Jacqueline Barrett. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 23 plus great grandchildren.
