He is survived by: his wife Yusleidy Casanas Ortiz; his daughter Aina Zayas; his mother Maria Acuria Martinez; his siblings, Ericka Zayas, Libertad Zayas, Eric Zayas and Alex Zayas; his sister-in-law Marina Armijo; his niece Beatrice Chavez Zayas; and his nephews, Daniel Chavez and Roque Oscar Chavez. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
