Tony Perea Obituary

It is with deep sadness to announce that Tony Perea has passed away July 25th at the age of 81. Tony passed away surrounded by many loving family and friends who through the years he has touched with his love and devoted faith to Jesus and Mary.

Tony was born April 19, 1942 in the city/village of Frost/Vallecito New Mexico, the son of Jose Antonio Perea and Rose Martinez. Tony graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1961. He met and fell in love with the love of his life Bertha L. Lopez-Perea. They were married on December 28, 1963 and had six children: Terry, Tony Jr, Dominic, Nadine, Clyde and Bert.

Tony's career was in Construction where he owned his own business and built many homes in Albuquerque and retired after thirty years.

Tony and his wife Bertha were very devoted to the Catholic Church where they were involved with the choir at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church as well as St Therese Church. Tony was also a Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Tony and Bertha enjoyed traveling with the church on many pilgrimages and created so many wonderful memories together.

Preceding Tony death are his wife Bertha L. Perea, son Clyde P. Perea and other family members.

Remaining to cherish Tony's memory are Daughter Terry Tanner & Husband Ty Tanner, Son Tony Jr. Perea and Wife Michelle Perea, son Dominic P. Perea and Wife Angela Perea, Daughter Nadine Mihan & Husband Patrick Mihan, son Bert Perea and wife Alicia Perea. Brothers Eusebio Perea, Frank Perea, Sisters Pauline Trujillo, Linda Carrillo, Isabel Sandoval and Maxine Sanchez and spouses.
