He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Thebert, James Thebert (late Virginia), Glenn Thebert (late Jarriette), Robert Thebert (late Anne), Constance Sutherland (late Roy), Lawrence Czajka, Alan Thebert (Elizabeth) and Laurence Thebert (Frances); his parents, Stanley Sokalski and Julia Sokalski; his wife Hoylande Ann Sokalski (Thebert); and his grandson Bram.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Campbell (Gary), Caroline Byrd (Tom), Margaret Lisius (Robert), Mary Walquist (Rick), John Sokalski (Cheryl Laurent) and Andrea Zander (Matt); his grandchildren, Daniel, Elizabeth, Mitchell, Alexander, Evelyn, Juliana, Grace, Stephen, Luke, Brielle, Olivia and Fern; his sister Barbara Strong (Larry); his niece Pamela Strong (Abedin Bajagilovic); his sisters-in-law, Linda Marchio (Tony) and Margaret Sahlin (late Charles); and also Luka Bajagilovic.
