Shirley Porter Russell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Porter Russell (Albuquerque, New Mexico), born in Beaver, Kentucky, who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest S. Porter and Inez Marie Hopkins; her brother Freddie Leonard Porter; her husband Tom III; her sister Nell Porter Jones; and her grandson Justin Tanner.
She is survived by: her friend Harriet Goldsworthy; her children, Vicky Avila (Robert) of Tucson, AZ, Tom IV (Kathy) of Sandia Park, NM and Julianne Pannell (Mark) of Rockmart, GA; her grandchildren, Chris Tanner, Rachel Mainvielle (Mark), Emilio Avila, Tyler and Ashley Pannell; and also Gail Jelks. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
