With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherry Lynn Dempsey-Helms of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Lambert and James Albert Dempsey; and her brother Abner "Buck" Russell. She is survived by: her wife Carol S. Helms; her brother Frank Dempsey; her nieces and nephews, Christopher, Mya, Lily, Aaron (Pam) and Corwin; her children, Dacia and Bryce; her siblings, Donna McDermott (Paul McDermott) and Ivan; her nephew Brandon; her stepdaughter Dusty Smart; her nieces and nephews, Abner, Chance and Nikki; her sister Karen Dunker; her nephew Nickolas Dunker; her great-niece Shawna Dunker; her stepmother Jerry; her mother-in-law Gerry Helms; and her sister-in-law Margie Persch. She is also survived by two nieces, one nephew and great nieces and nephews and many other friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations and memorial contributions to a domestic animal shelter or wildlife refuge; or the Anna Kaseman Hospice Hospital via the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation; or charity of your choice.
