With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Seferina Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Torreon, New Mexico, who passed away on February 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Chavez; her daughter Delora Ayala; her daughter-in-law Yolanda Chavez; and her grandson Mel Chavez. She is survived by: her children, Melquiades Chavez, Paulie Sosebee, Gary Chavez (Vivian) and Nadine Baca (Frank); her brother Ray Garcia (Mary); and her son-in-law Robert Ayala. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
