He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Silva and Carmelita Silva; his wife Elma Silva; and his siblings, Mary Silva, Albino Silva, Mike Silva, Chris Silva and Casimiro Silva.

He is survived by: his children, Lorraine Silva, Casi Silva and Patricia Torrez; his son-in-law Ruben Torrez; his grandchildren, Robert Griego, Ruben Torrez, Victoria Torrez, Casandra Silva and Ricky Baca; his great grandchildren, Iris Medina, Emma, Rose Molina, Jovi Molina, Iliana Zuniga and Carlos Zuniga; and his sisters, Tillie Garcia, Stella Valdivia and Betsy Lopez. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and lifelong friends.
