He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Aranda (Alaríd); his brother Pete Aranda (Dee); his brothers-in-law, Salvador Garcia and Al Garcia; and his father Tony Herrera Aranda.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Calles-Aranda; his children, Debbie Torres (Benjamin), Janet Aranda, Beverly Aranda, Michael Aranda (Anna Lucero-Aranda), James Aranda (Melanie) and Mark Aranda (Raquel); his stepson Vincent Martinez (Lauren McGehee); his grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna, David, Tessa, Ross, Matthew, Tomas, Gloria, Jacob and Avery; his great grandchild Jayvis Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Aranda (Anna), Richard Aranda (Cecilia), Joe Aranda (Theresa), Manny Aranda (Angie), Helen Joy Madrid (Augustine), Patty Garcia, Sarah Vandeveer, Azelle Garcia and Martin Aranda.
