She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Tafoya and Adela Gauna Tafoya; her siblings, Alfredo, Abel, Mary, Angelina and Quela; and her son Leonardo.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ray Tafoya and Liz Maestas; her sister-in-law Dorothy Tafoya; and her sons, Roberto (Melecita), Gilbert (Nancy) and Agustin (Monique). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
