He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Martinez and Juanita Martinez; his sons, Michael, Ronnie and Toby Martinez; his grandchildren, April Martinez and Antonio Carrillo; and his siblings, Johnny, Willie (Merlinda), Freddie Martinez, Delia Trujillo (Daniel) and Lucy Griego (Estolano).

He is survived by: his children, Jerry Martinez (Eloisa) and Rose Carrillo (Mark); his brother Paul Martinez (late Dora); and his pet Dakota. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
