It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gurule of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Varela. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Gurule; his children, Amanda Gurule, Andres Bazan, Daniella Gutierrez and Justina Lopez; his grandsons, London and Rome Ramirez; and his siblings, Ramon Varela, Dolores Alarcon, Geraldine Baca and Lawrence Gurule.

“Robert was a great teacher to me. My name is Christopher "Chaka" Cortinas. Robert taught me the ways in the alignment world, and best of all he was a great person to me since the age of 5. Me and Robert shared the liking for the Pontiac Firebird. He has his 67 Red beauty, and I have my 2000 red Firehawk. I will forever miss the time we would take to the streets for a burn out.
