He was predeceased by: his wife Bernadine Turrietta (Montano); his parents, Andres Turrietta and Senaida Turrietta (Garcia); and his siblings, Carmen Turrietta and Andy Turrietta.

He is survived by: his sons, Alan (Savannah), Richard (Jessica), Jacob (Justine) and Albert (Alexis); his sisters, Dolores Benavidez (Ben) and Rosemary Maldonado (Ross); and his godchildren, Edward Chavez Jr., Crystal Chavez and Ben Benavidez Jr.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
