He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Amanda Ortiz (Juan); his grandson Aiden Ortiz; and his siblings, Michael Ayala, Rita Grimes (Stuart), Patrick Ayala (Iliana), Ernie Ayala (Marilyn), Christine Flores (Oscar) and Anna Zamora (Earl).
