He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmel Ortiz and Corina Ortiz. He is survived by: his children, Ralph R. Ortiz, Randy Ortiz (Briana), Evette Madrid (James) and Valerie Ortiz-Uranga (Thomas); his siblings, Geraldine Martinez (Manuel), Emily Naranajo (Leo), Robert Ortiz (Dorothy) and Debbie Mascarenas (Ernest); his grandchildren, Amanda, Nevaeh, Elaya, Tommy, Tyler, Alana and Treyson; and his great grandchild Levi. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel (1000 Old Coors Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
