He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Clements and Dee Clements; his wife Thelma Truelock of Muleshoe; his siblings, Travis and Wanda Joyce; and his great grandchild Olan Thomas Gomez.

He is survived by: his children, Vickie (Clark), Delane and Kevin (Nancye). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
