With solemn reverence, we commemorate Octaviano Minder Valdez (Albuquerque, New Mexico), born in Wagon Mound, New Mexico, whose life came to an end on November 12, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floraido and Adelina; his wife Theresa; his brother-in-law Joe Aragon; and his nephews, Sonny and Jimmy Aragon.
He is survived by: his sister Viola Aragon; his children, Carl (Peggy Harter), Gloria, Dolores Sanchez (Jimmy) and Joseph (Kim Fay); his grandchildren, James Sanchez (Sydney) and Amanda Baca (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Levi and Bradley.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church (8321 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121). A rosary will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
