He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman G. Sexton Sr. and Reva Sexton (Fyffe); and his grandparents, William, Sylvia Sexton, Proctor and Coonie Fyffe.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jeanne Sexton (Octavio Solis) and Bruce Sexton (Sabine Sexton); his niece Gracie Solis; his children, Justin Padgitt (Brittany Padgitt), Michelle Ramsey and Nicole Hart (Justin Hart); his grandchild Baby Hart; and his close friend Patrick Puckett. He is also survived by other family members, friends and "adopted family".
