With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monica Richmann Ortega of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on January 8, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm (William) and Annie (Annie); her brother Bernhard (Monica); and her daughter Jeannine Arnold. She is survived by: her aunt Marlene; her husband Gene Ortega; her sister Maryann Richmann; her niece Renee Arner; her nephews, William and Dominic Richmann; her grandson Joshua Arnold (Debra Arnold); and her great grandchildren, Marlena Arnold and Edwin Opland.

In lieu of flowers Monica would like to have individuals donate to her favorite charitable organization the St. Jude Hospital and Research Center for Children.
