He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Saavedra and Pemilia Saavedra; his son Albert Saavedra; and his siblings, Luis Saavedra, Juan Saavedra, Pauline Gonzales, Trisa Saavedra, Dixie Ortiz and Della Wood.

He is survived by: his wife Criselda; and his children, Ralph Saavedra, Anthony Aragon, Veronica, Richard Gutierrez, Debbie Aragon, John Lopez, Lisa, Benny Baca, Gracie, Paul Aragon, Jimmy, Mary, Johnny Vigil, Nabor and Renee Aragon. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
