He is survived by: his children, Marisela Gutierrez, Hilda Gutierrez, Edilia Gutierrez, Humberto Gutierrez, Victor Gutierrez, Javier Gutierrez, Oscar Noel Gutierrez, Miguel Angel Gutierrez and Jorge Gutierrez; and his siblings, Baldomero Gutierrez Mata, Baltazar Gutierrez Mata and Martin Gutierrez Mata. He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
