He was predeceased by: his brother Matthew Lusk; his stepfather Jim Wilmarth; and his grandparents, Seth, Lois Wyche, George and Jennie Lusk.

He is survived by: his wife Heather; his daughter Halee; his mother Claudette Wilmarth; his aunt Jeanne Wyche; and his uncle Clint Bridges (Sheila). He is also survived by cousins and many friends.

“Heather: I was really saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I considered him a friend. He always had a big smile when I stopped in with a vehicle or just to say hello. He was a great mechanic. Treated everyone fairly, did a good job, and did his best to give us a good price always. A really fine person. I am missing him. My best to you and your daughter, Richard deHaas”

“Heather -- I am so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. He was such a good man. He was really such an asset to the community, someone who had his own business, who did good, honest car repair work. Ed and I could always trust that he was giving us a fair deal, which is so rare these days. That kind of service is a real contribution to a community, makes one feel that we're all in this together, not just looking out for our individual selves. I will miss him! I hope you are starting to heal....”
