With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mela B. Gurule (Albuquerque, New Mexico), who passed away on September 10, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Teofilo Campos and Catalina Otero Campos. She is survived by: her son Manuel Gurule; her grandchildren, Michael Gurule and Julie Metcalf-Gurule; her great grandchildren, Cephas Rodriguez and RayLyn Gonzales; her former husband Fermin Gurule; her sister Cathy Olguin (Ernest); and her children, Fermin Guadalupe (Louise Gurule), Percilla Gurule, Michael Gurule, Rita Gurule (Felix Mora), Veronica Gurule (Donald Bobbin) and Robert Gurule (Lori Watkins-Gurule). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
