She was predeceased by: her parents, Benito Sandoval and Barbara Sandoval; her stepfather Manuel Sandoval; her husband Jose F. Salazar II; her sisters, Alice Garcia, Cecilia Moya and Rose Barela; and her grandchildren, Desiree Salazar and Jose F. Salazar IV (Joey).

She is survived by: her children, Jose Manuel Salazar and Maria G. Salazar; and her siblings, Gloria Griego, Alex Sandoval, Rey Sandoval and Raymond Sandoval. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
