He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally G. Maes and Martin Lucero Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Lucero, Roberto Lucero and Ernie Lucero.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Gauna (Jarred Gauna), Anita Lucero, Martin Lucero, Santiago Lucero and Serena Ortiz; and his sisters, Jessica Lucero-Aragon, Mary "Ruth" Berridge (John Berridge), Carol Lucero and Betty Maes. He is also survived by his stepdaughter.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rogers Mortuary (600 Raynolds Ave, Las Vegas, NM 87701).
